Welcome Innsbruck - Winter 2019

W E L C O M E 73 M ore than 1300 m² of „screen space“, seven high-performance beamers and a perfect sound system will ensure a majestic open-air experience during the winter Mount Magic 3-D projection mapping in the inner courtyard of the Imperial Hofburg in Inns- bruck from 27 November 2019 to 19 January 2020. The Mount Magic lightshow focuses on the forces of nature. The powerful visual impressions range from the emergence of the primeval continent of Pangaea, the volcanic activities associated with it, the bustling activity in the sea through to the ice ages and warm periods. Adventure and fantasy are not forgotten. Visitors are accompanied by a marmot who is separated from his family and sets off on a quest - sometimes surreal and dreamlike, but always effectively staged in a spectacular 3D mapping tech- nique. The courtyard façade of the Imperial Hofburg Innsbruck is an oversized canvas and an impressive, constantly changing, creative element of the show. Mount Magic doesn‘t want to ex- plain, but to stimulate and inspire to dream - a multimedia ex- perience for the whole family. The Mount Magic lightshow starts daily at 17.30 and 18.30. Although the Maximilian anniversary year is over, all those who missed the Max500 lightshow last year have the opportunity to experience the „Kaiserliche Zeitreise Max500“, created to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Emperor Maximilian, every day at 19.30 and to immerse themselves in the creatively interpreted world of the last knight.
