T here is hardly another place in the world which offers the ur- banity of a city like Innsbruck in combination with a moun- tain landscape nearby. If you want to make your skiing holiday something special, you can combine the best of both worlds in an Innsbruck winter. Mountain panoramas and sightseeing, action and relaxation - all this goes hand in hand in Innsbruck. The varied list of activities that can be combined with a classic winter holiday makes the Innsbruck region unique in the world. The new SKI plus CITY Pass Stubai Innsbruck offers the whole variety in one ticket: 13 ski areas around Inns- bruck and in the Stubai valley with a total of 308 km of slopes and 111 lifts, 22 adventure activities in the greater Innsbruck area, 3 swimming pools and the use of all ski bus networks as well as the Innsbruck Sight- seers are included. S K I V A R I E T Y There is a big difference between the city and the mountains, but also between the ski resorts. Whether you want to clock up the altitude metres with a glacier panorama or carve through an idyllic ski area with your family and a view of the city is entirely up to you. Those who attach importance to being close to the city should pick these two ar- eas: the Innsbrucker Nordkette and the Patscherkofel are easy to reach right from the city centre and offer skiing and snowboarding fun for families with children as well as for real freeriders. The cable car ride to the Nordkette starts right in the centre of Innsbruck. For those who want to go especially high, there are over 100 kilo- metres of pistes in Austria’s largest glacier ski area - the Stubai Glacier. There are 26 state-of-the-art lifts to take guests effortlessly and com- fortably up to 3210 metres. In addition to the Stubai Glacier, there are other ski resorts in the Stubai valley that can also be explored with the SKI plus CITY Pass. These include Schlick 2000, the allrounder for young and old; the demanding Elfer ski and toboggan area and the family ski area of the Serles, where sunny winter hikes are also offered. The Bergeralm panoramic ski area in Steinach am Brenner is also in- cluded in the SKI plus CITY Pass. Kühtai, the highest winter sports resort in Austria, is also a hit: 46 kilometres of pistes and guaranteed snowfall will delight you. Just a few kilometres away, the Hochoetz ski area is particularly popular with families and invites you to discover another “winter wonderland”. Those who are traveling with their families will find what they are looking for especially on the idyllic slopes of the M U T T E R E R A L M , where the slopes lead through forests. The pleasantly manageable ski area of Oberperfuss at the R A N G G E R K Ö P F L has already received an award for its friendly staff and, for those who like more action, the A X A M E R L I Z U M offers ideal conditions for freeriding on snowy days. The G L U N G E Z E R near Hall (approx. 10 km from Innsbruck) is the perfect alternative for everyone who is looking for a natural skiing experience. All these ski areas can be explored with the excellent value of the SKI plus CITY Pass. For comparison: a 4-day ski pass, which is exclusively valid on the Stubai Glacier, costs 181 Euros. The SKI plus CITY Pass costs 191 Euros for this period, only 10 Euros more, but offers the total kilometres of slopes from 13 ski areas including the Stubai Glacier, 22 lifestyle, cultural and sightseeing activities, admission to three indoor swimming pools as well as the Hop-On-Hop-Off Sightseer Innsbruck and all ski bus routes. The SKI plus CITY Pass offers a 25% discount on night skiing W
