beautiful countryside and a diversi-
fied adventure zone make the Mutter-
eralmpark the ideal place for families,
sport enthusiasts and those seeking relaxa-
tion. The perfect mix of nature, adventure, fun
and games promises an unforgettable experi-
ence for every visitor.
The Adventure Mountain for kids
The Muttereralmpark, which has an area of
about 7000 square metres, is a true paradise
for children. The kids are familiarised with the
themes water, wood, sand and stone in a play-
ful and child-oriented way. An extensive enter-
tainment programme ensures plenty of ac-
tion: Explore the adventure playground with
refreshing waterways, fountains and magical ponds; visit the artifi-
cial lake, where the grown-ups can use the opportunity to find a calm
spot and watch the goings-on from a distance; and don’t miss out on
the famous houses “Baumelhäuser”, which are joint in lofty heights,
where children and adults reach observation decks to enjoy the mag-
nificent views of the mountains and the Inn Valley… The whole area of-
fers plenty of opportunities for discovery. Be-
sides a great programme, there are also a lot
of events, which are well worth joining: For ex-
ample the Muttereralm Children’s Festival on
the 2nd of July, where you can listen to some
great live bands and exciting activities such as
face painting are offered. If after all this your
children still have too much energy left, they
can participate in the weekly dance workshop
“Dance in the Alps”.
The Muttereralmpark for adults
The selection of activities for adults is just as
extensive as the one for children: Go hiking or
biking, slide down the mountain in the Mut-
terer Mountain Cart, participate in the Geo-
coaching or improve your coordination and endurance in the Gener-
ation-Motor Skills Park – there is something for everybody. Last year,
the Muttereralmpark has set a new focus, which will be continued this
year: Downhill. The single trail is easy, suitable for the whole family
and perfect for beginners and slightly intermediates. The route starts
at the mountain station of the cable car and goes in serpentines past
