CHRISTMAS MARKET IN INNSBRUCK’S OLD TOWN
The traditional market
15 November to 23 December 2016,
daily from 11 am to 9 pm
This market enchants young and old visitors with mag-
ical fairy tale performances, the beautiful sounds of
the tower trumpeters (daily in the alcove balcony of the
Golden Roof at 5:30 pm) or the “Märchengasse” Fairy
Tale Alley.
CHRISTMAS MARKET AT MARKTPLATZ
The family market
25 November to 23 December 2016,
daily from 11 am to 9 pm
Children will adore the nostalgic carousel, the friendly
ponies and the puppet theatre, while adults can discover
alternative handicraft and traditional delicacies.

The modern market
25 November to 6 January 2017,
daily from 11 am to 9 pm
24 December 11 am – 3 pm (closed December 25)
Innsbruck’s main shopping street will once again daz-
zle visitors with a cornucopia of lights, glass and crystal
- an avenue of glittering illuminated trees, with modern
lighting design and vivid mountain crystal, giving this
Christmas market a very special flair.
HUNGERBURG CHRISTMAS MARKET
The panoramic market
19 November to 23 December 2016, Monday to Friday
from 1 pm to 7 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and public
holidays from 12 pm to 7 pm
Take the Hungerburgbahn cable car to get up to this
magnificent Christmas market boasting a marvellous
view over Innsbruck. From Monday to Thursday, local ar-
tisans give some interesting insights into their work.

As colourful as life itself
