Wenn der Schein trügt

Die aktuelle Sonderausstellung „Illusionen – Täuschung der Sinne“

im AUDIOVERSUM ist den optischen Täuschungen auf der Spur. Denn

nicht alles ist so, wie es scheint. So entsteht plötzlich Bewegung in

einem Bild, das Foto des Wissenschaftlers Albert Einstein verwandelt

sich aus einiger Entfernung in die Filmikone Marilyn Monroe und mit-

hilfe einer Virtual-Reality-Brille wird eine simulierte Achterbahnfahrt

zum echten Erlebnis.

oniert das Hören eigentlich? Die Hörerlebniswelt AUDIOVERSUM in Innsbruck geht dieser Frage nach und lädt zu einer

faszinierenden Reise in die Welt der Wahrnehmung. //

are always busy. But how does the hearing work? The interactive exhibition and educational centre AUDIOVERSUM

investigates this question and takes you on a journey through the fascinating world of perception.

Not all is what it seems

The new special exhibition “Illusions – Fooling the Senses” focuses on op-

tical illusions. It provides a fascinating insight into how, when and why our

eyes can trick our brain. For example, through an optical illusion, a picture

of Albert Einstein can slowly turn into Marilyn Monroe as you step further

and further away. Or put on the virtual reality headset and experience a

stomach-churning realistic ride on a rollercoaster.
