ie Schneeoase mit bis zu 2.340 Metern Höhe – auch bekannt als
„weißes Dachl“ – lässt Outdoor-Herzen höherschlagen: Mit 40 Pis-
tenkilometern, Freeride- und Rodelstrecken ist auf der Axamer Li-
zum für Abwechslung gesorgt. Aufgrund der Höhenlage und der techni-
schen Beschneiung ist das Skigebiet zudem eines der schneesichersten in
ganz Österreich. Und auch kulinarisch gibt es hoch über Innsbruck einiges
zu entdecken. Neben vielen urigen Hütten ist es vor allem das Hoadl Haus
mit seinen Gratisliegestühlen und der neu eröffneten Hoadl Bar 2340, das
einen Einkehrschwung lohnt. Bei chilligen Sounds und stärkenden Tiroler
Köstlichkeiten sind Trendsetter hier dem Schi-Himmel ganz nah.
Freestyle-Paradies
Für alle, die nicht nur klassisch über die Piste wedeln möchten, gibt’s seit
heuer den neu gestalteten Golden Roofpark bei der 4er-Sesselbahn Kar-
leiten mit einem bunten Mix aus Boxen, Rails und Kickern. Der Freestyle-
Playground ist ein Mekka für Freeskier und Snowboarder und ein absolu-
tes Winter-Must für Beginner und Advanced Rider. Für Action sorgt auch
die brandneue Funslope: Ob in hängenden Kurven oder durch Riesen-
schnecken, über Speedboosts zum Abklatschen mit lautstarken High-Five-
Smileys – die zahlreichen Funelemente sorgen für ordentlichen Pisten-
spaß.

his snow oasis at 2,340 metres above sea level is also known as
the “white roof” and will quicken the pulse of dedicated outdoor
enthusiasts. Variety is ensured with 40 km of piste, breath-taking
freeride runs and nocturnal tobogganing fun. Thanks to its altitude and
the snow cannons, the ski area offers reliable snow conditions throughout
the whole season. Also in terms of culinary, there is a lot to discover. The
Hoadl Haus is one of the most popular huts and definitely worth a visit.
This panorama restaurant boasts Austria’s biggest roofed sun terrace and
an awe-inspiring view of the surrounding Alpine world. Try their new bar
Hoadl Bar at 2340 m – (ski) heaven has never been closer!
Freestyle paradise
Those of you, who get bored on the groomed slopes, can try the newly sha-
ped, cutting edge Golden Roofpark at the 4-seater chairlift Karleiten boas-
ting a colourful combination of boxes, rails and kickers. This freestyle play-
ground is a mecca for freeskiers and snowboarders and an absolute winter
must-try for advanced riders as well as for beginners. In addition, the new
fun slope provides plenty of action: Race through steep turns and giant snails
over speed boosts while you high five crazy smileys – you definitely won’t get
bored with the numerous fun elements this extraordinary slope has to offer.
