roughout the whole year – not only at Christmas. Most of them are

contemporary cribs. They have evolved from old nativity scene tradi-

tions, but were built in the 20th century. Some scenes repeat them-

selves: the angel leading the way, the hesitant old man, who is being

dragged away by his nephew, the Oriental women at the fountain… It

is amazing that in our fast-paced world there are still people, who de-

vote themselves with so much love and detail to the creation of such

nativity scenes. A visit to Wildermieming’s nativity scene exposition

will be touching and astonishing and the initiators will be especial-

ly happy, when they see that their hard work is being admired and

appreciated.
